Why there needs to be support ?
Body image issues are a common problem. In a society that promotes unrealistic body ideals, it is challenging to not get caught up in comparing oneself to these unrealistic standards.  Our perception of our body influences our mental health, our physical health, how we take care of ourselves, and how we relate to others. As a result of having negative body image, many individuals may experience depression, anxiety, anger and even self-loathing and have a higher chance of developing an eating disorder and will often suffer from depression, low self-esteem, and obsessions with weight loss which is why there needs to be more support for body image.
